Status of macOS Version #781

Dear CmisSync-Team,

I would like to get some information on the current state of the macOS version of CmisSync. The version on your website is 32-bit which does not run on the newest macOS version at all due to removed 32 bit app support in Catalina. Is there any way of getting a 64 bit version?

@123marvin123 unlikely. I had a bug open since November 2016 (https://github.com/aegif/CmisSync/issues/732) and they aren't interested in fixing it - 3 years have passed and still nothing. Their comments effectively say they will only fix issues for their paying customers. I would have thought since they want to sell their product for $120 per user per year, that it would be in their interest to fix it to get more customers. Had the issue been fixed, we would have purchased it. Based on the lack of interest in fixing the issue, we also lost interest in this product. At least we were able to test it and find the problems before purchasing. I expect had we purchased, the reply would have been "The mac version is beta and therefore unsupported" and so we would still be in the same boat with a purchased product that doesn't work and no interest from their side in fixing it.

Well, what a bummer. I guess there is no way to get it running on macOS then... 😞
