I can't install the plugin on a fresh new Craft install.

composer require aelvan/imager
./craft install/plugin aelvan/imager or manual install from /admin/settings/plugins
Get this error: No plugin exists with the handle "aelvan/imager".

Following this Stack Exchange thread, I was able to fix this by running ./craft project-config/rebuild.
