I'm not the author but I want to spend a word replying.

  1. Your problem is likely due to Windows. Windows is the shitty program here. Do yourself a favor: try to boot from a live USB, install Ubuntu and try again there.
  2. The way you asked is not nice. You are insulting somebody who worked for you gratis. Be nice, please
  3. This program is libre (free as in freedom) software. You behave like if you are superior, so surely you can fix it and submit a patch

Also, when reporting a problem, be more specific and include a log. It's impossible to debug something based on the feedback "is not working/does not build (two different things, BTW)
