Hero transition on page change #54

When navigating the site via the subnavigation (#5) there is a transition effect on the top hero image and the content of the page:

The top hero image of the new page slides in from left or right. (Note: I haven't identified the pattern defining the direction, yet.)
The content of the current page (everything below the subnavigation, except the cookie consent tag) fades out to blank/white.
The content of the target page fades in.
The view port slides up to the top of the page.

waiting to check with the customer if this is needed. since it is hero, I want to keep it as light, fast and speedy as possible with the fastest LCP rather than over complicate this section.
