Question for customer: It seems the image is designed ahead of time and then linked on your site. Is this how you want this to work? Or would you rather be able to author the headline, add an image, and the linked text ad-hoc? (we can add a white gradient behind the text and a black dropshadow around the link via CSS). I think having the text would be better for accessibility in general.

Right now these are each individual widgets in the backend where the image is uploaded to a "post" and a link is added in a separate field. To your point it isn't very accessible so it would be great if we could move forward with the option you mentioned of having the text separate with a white gradient to make it more accessible. BUT in the interim because the text is already a part of these images if we could keep the option of just having an image that links off that would be great.

For the blog these images are just pasted into the content and linked.
