Definitely open to the idea. I don't know if I can commit the time to maintain it regularly to get it up to standard as a regular package - but if there are others interested in that, I am willing to help. I also like keeping the "disjoint functions version" up - seems that many people do not use this as a package, but mix and match functions.

Ok, I will prepare a script to make your collection of functions a installable package.

How did that go? I think it would be useful if this were part of the standard octave forge repository.
