No connection to daemon - "no connection to daemon, request = getblocks.bin" #113

Anyone know why I am getting this error? New install 16.04 - used 1 liner from readme, make release, daemon syncs, wallet syncs, I start pool and then I start to get this error intermittently?

@DurinsMine can you post the command you used to run the rpc wallet?

Same as the Nodejs pool one where you start monerod with PM2

Hmm… If you can post the command here it would be great. But just to make sure, did you run the wallet rpm this way ./aeon-wallet-rpc --wallet-file {wallet-file} --prompt-for-password --rpc-bind-port {port} —disable-rpc-login? The port should be different from the daemon port. https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/3693 might help.

It works because we have found multiple blocks. Its as though someone is DDOS the daemon
