Version used 1.5.4

When loading the page with five instances of the results webpart, I sometimes get a "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'whenFinished')". When we refresh the page, it loads correctly. We have upgraded from PNP to aequos.

Hi @MartinSpitz,

Did you have this issue sometimes with PnP Search too? This kind of issue occurs sometimes due to the SharePoint API rather than the solution itself.

MartinSpitz commented 10 months ago

Hi @Laul0 No never had that issue with PnP search.

Laul0 commented 10 months ago

Ok. We will check on our side by adding several instances of the Visualizer Web Part if we can reproduce the same behavior.

MartinSpitz commented 10 months ago

Hi @Laul0 It also happens when only one instance of the webpart is present. We use the "Detail List" layout.

TrannumS commented 10 months ago

Hi @MartinSpitz ,

We have tried to replicate the behavior but could not. We have tried to upgrade from pnpmodernsearch to aqeuos solution by adding single as well as multiple data visualizer webparts, and it seems to be working fine at our end. In order to dig deeper, could you please share the exact steps you followed to upgrade the solution so that we can reproduce the above behavior.

Thanks

MartinSpitz commented 10 months ago

Hi @TrannumS We uninstalled the PNPmodernsearch. Then afterwards installed aequos just like your installation documentation specifies. https://aequos-solutions.github.io/modern-data-visualizer/upgrade_from_pnp/

@TrannumS I get a lot of these when the error comes. image

Hi @MartinSpitz,

Do you still meet your error messages?

DyHarvey commented 3 months ago

Hello, Has there been any updates to this? I assume not? I am unfortunately also getting this exact same error with my implementation of Aequos (Version :1.4.1.0) Just like Martin we are using multiple instances of the results web part and when refreshing the page it disappears. This does not permanently fix it however as these errors appear again/intermittently on subsequent page loads.
