Honestly, I think someone watched Starship Troopers and just ran with it.
Great mechanics, all well executed, but there is no set "campaign"; a team of cooperating players works together (technically) with every other team playing the game to complete a global campaign that periodically resets. There are three fronts to battle on, each representing a unique experience. Also friendly fire is always on and a significant part of the gameplay mechanics, but in a good way.
This would be a pretty long one, but is both enjoyable to play and enjoyable to watch if there's banter from teammates, which will happen as you accidentally kill them and yourself. There is also fire, that you can kill yourself with. We all know how you enjoy standing in fire!
