Unfortunately, we have never faced such issues. We have tested tutorial on bare metal and virtual machines. Most probably there is some difference in our and your environment. We used ubuntu 18.04 and 16.04 as host system... Could you please provide your environment?

When I follow this tutorial and run the Windows virtual machine, after running for a few minutes, it will cause the host machine to completely freeze (which in turn also freezes the VM). I have to hard-reboot, as I have found no way to regain access to the host machine. Also, if while the machine is still running, I do a docker kill on the container running the VM, that also causes the host machine to freeze and require a hard-reboot. Have you seen this issue or know anything about it?
