Multipolygone buildings problem #204

Hi, there seems to be a bug for handling multipolygone relations properly:

In this example, I enriched the building as multipolygone and added Simple 3D building related tags, too. Unfortunatly, it seems, as maptool doesn't consider tags at the relation (instead of at the inner and outer closed ways itself). Maybe this is the simple reason, why it doesn't identifies the outline as building. But IMHO this way of tagging is suggested by a lot of schemas and should be added.

tested with SVN5467 and a portugal binfile from 2.5.09.2013 from maps.navit-project.org

IIRC, maptool currently supports only following relation types:

  • turn restrictions (not ones having multiple via members);
  • administrative boundaries (not cascaded ones, actual admin_level->navit boundary type mapping is country dependent and covers now only below 10 countries);
  • associated street.

Also, we do not have any support for drawing multipolygones with holes yet.

So I'm changing this ticket type to a feature request.

I suggest this issue as blocker for 0.5.1:

  • for designers/endusers/... navit might appear to be broken if entered OSM buildings/landuse/... don't appear

This is a lot of work, also it is not a real bug, we target next feature releases
