In order to improve skin development, I want to suggest a way to expose some internal GUI icons as customizable by XML editing.

(the planet/map, home, check and X icons)

I don't know what could be the best way to expose it as they are globally used by internal GUI. You could maybe add a section into the pseudo html inside <gui type="internal" .. > with this settings.

Adding the ability to customize, we will be able to create fully cohesive themes, replacing these icons with the ones that matches the same style of other icons.
