Enhancement Request My old 3808ci doesn’t support CEC HDMI control. This plug-in works great but when the receiver powers off the Denon input remains on OPT1, which was set by using Quick Select 2. Wife comes along and wants to watch Netflix, HDMI2, but Denon is still set to OPT1.

Could you add a feature to set the Quick Select before powering off? That way I could return the Denon to HDMI2 via Quick Select 1, for when the wife comes along. 😬

Having once been married myself (and having once owned an AVR-3808ci), I feel your pain. 😁 First of all, what LMS client app do you use? If you use Squeezer (Android) or iPeng (iOs), I can help. The plugin's client menu, which can be activated in the player's LMS plugin setup menu, allows for executing any defined Quick Select, among many other things. Beginning with the newly-released v4.6, it also allows the AVR input to be changed directly on the fly. The problem in your case, however, is that the plugin will not power the AVR off automatically when turning the LMS player off if the input is not currently set to that of the player. This is actually a feature to allow the user to switch to another source (i.e. Netflix) and then turn off the player without powering off the AVR. However, the next release, which I am testing now, adds the ability to power the AVR off manually from the client menu. So, in your case, you would execute the Quick Select 1 command, followed by powering off the AVR from the menu. Granted it's a manual process but, realistically speaking, I don't see much wide demand for an automated solution to your problem. If you are interested in testing a beta version of the next release, let me know and I will upload it to the forum (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?60114-Announce-Denon-AVP-Control-Plugin).
