In the current version of SIMBA, users cannot specify the junction temperature of a semiconductor for loss calculations or set an initial temperature.
Solutions
Version 23.11 of SIMBA introduced an "Initial Temperature" feature, allowing users to define the starting temperature for the Cauer network thermal capacitances. However, this feature becomes irrelevant if the thermal data utilizes a Foster network or doesn't have thermal impedance data.
In order to "fix" the junction temperature of a semiconductor junction, the best approach is to remove the thermal impedance from the thermal data and to connect a "constant temperature" source to the thermal pin.
