Magnetic loss estimation #305

How to estimate loss for transformers and inductors. This is a query for a customer.

This is a big topic but the "Transformer, 2 Winding" model gives a first order estimation of losses with the magnetization inductance and the winding resistances. For inductors, a simple approach would be to add the ESR.
