The tail should consist of two parts:
a) the control box itself to which the tail is attached
b) the mounting plate attached to a belt
When the user wants to quickly remove the tail, they can pull part a) out of part b). Part b) remains attached to a belt which shouldn't restrict the user movements. This has two advantages:
The tail can be quickly removed in case of an emergency, or simply when the user wants to sit comfortably
The attachment to the wearer's body is much more rigid thanks to the part b)
The goal of this ticket is to experiment with several designs and ultimately see what works best and offers sufficient comfort and rigidity.
