Enrich / Intersect Wildfire Survey and IRWIN with Fire Potential and Demographics #40

Real-world problem: Identifying the potential impact of a new fire. Is it in area with high burn potential? Is it in an area where people live nearby? Technical problem: Intersecting the new Wildfire Hazard Potential Enriched with Demographics layer with Survey123 / IRWIN points, using Arcade, in a way that shows -

  1. Average Fire Potential in the hexbin
  2. Number of housing units and people in the hexbin

Intersect is working well and the hexbin has population data I can pull from along with the wildfire probability. image
