It says to install the .mo files like this:

C:\Program Files\MyApp\myapp.exe C:\Program Files\MyApp\de\myapp.mo C:\Program Files\MyApp\fr\myapp.mo

i.e. where the main executable is located. However I'm not sure wether it only applies to wxWidgets or it is more general...

I created a new issue ( #100 ) to centralize all translation-related discussions.

For the Polish translation, here is what I propose: I am planning a new release for the beginning of September. Then, in the middle of August I will freeze all the UI strings so that translations can be updated in due time. I will post an announcement in issue #100, and at that point you should use the po/photoflow.pot file as the basis for the update of translations.

We will then have the possibility to test the translations on Linux/Windows/OSX before releasing the new version.

I have a few points:

camera SP570UZ: @Zbyma72age This is a very easy, generic error caused by the fact that the sample raw file for that camera is not available from any well-known location. In particular, it is not on rawsamples.ch. So please do send them a sample!
@aferrero2707 what is the current idea about handling rawspeed changes in PhotoFlow? Will they be sent to some upstream?
And lastly, when doing any rawspeed camera support, please do ask users to send raw samples to rawsamples.ch

@LebedevRI Hi! and thanks for joining the discussion... In the PhotoFlow case, "upstream" is actually Darktable, as I am taking the RawSpeed library from the DT sources. Do you apply any patch with respect to the original RawSpeed distribution? If not, then I can prepare a bug report for them, but not before at least one week from now...

Well :) For a while, it looks as if darktable is actually the upstream of rawspeed, and not the other way around. Majority of all the rawspeed changes (i'd say ~95% in last 1-2 years) were first applied in our tree, and then later sent to the "upstream rawspeed"...

So my personal opinion would be to sync changes from PhotoFlow to darktable, and then from darktable to rawspeed.

@aferrero2707 JFYI the rawspeed's upstream is now https://github.com/darktable-org/rawspeed As of now, darktable pulls it as a git submodule. You may want to do the same.

Thanks for the info! In fact, in order to process RAW images photoflow needs a couple of Darktable source files in addition to the RawSpeed code, specifically the files providing the Adobe camera matrices and the WB presets. Therefore, having RawSpeed as a sub-module does not automatically provide support for new cameras...

That's nice! Has anyone considered the idea of including the standard Adobe camera matrix coefficients and the preset WB multipliers into RawSpeed's cameras.xml database? Then one could ship hot-fixes of camera parameters without the need of releasing new binaries...

We did consider it back when the Klaus was still the maintainer. Back then i was in favor of this idea. Now - i'm not so sure. Especially the adobe color matrix is in the very gray legal area. Should their left heel itch, they may enforce it's deletion. So i'm not really sure.

As for wb presets, i will be moving them into json soon, i have the code, i need to finish it...

So you plan to put the WB presets in a json file? I think that RawTherapee does the same... I wonder if at some point we could come up with a common camera database... maybe I'm just dreaming ;-)

Concerning the Adobe matrices, I understand perfectly the possible legal issues, but don't they apply also to the existing source code? There is an adobe_coeff.c source file with all the matrix coefficients... why would this be legally better than an XML or JSON database?
