Tool Options panel visual errors with GTK3 AppImage #29

Briefly tried the latest ([GIMP_AppImage-git-2.99.1-20190228-x86_64.AppImage](https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-appimage/releases/download/continuous/GIMP_AppImage-git-2.99.1-20190228-x86_64.AppImage)) GTK3 AppImage build on Fedora 29. It seems to work well, overall! In the short time I kicked the tires, the only issues I noticed were some layout issues in the docked Tool Options for some tools.

Align has a doubled heading at the top: image

A few tools have large vertical whitespace immediately following their first heading, of various lengths. I didn't immediately notice a pattern. The ones I saw it on are, consistently:

Unified Transform image

Rotate image

Scale image

Handle Transform image

Perspective Tool image

(I know it looks like the "Transform: Layer/Selection/Path" selector might be the culprit, but Shear and Flip Tool are both fine): image image

@ferdnyc at the moment I have no clue if those are AppImage-related issues, or affecting any GTK3 GIMP version.

Do you have another GIMP GTK3 version on your system, from another source? If yes, is the layout correct in this case?

Thanks!

@aferrero2707 Sorry for not responding to this sooner!

I don't, unfortunately. Just the Fedora 29 distro package which is GTK2. That was the reason I downloaded the AppImage, to compare the two. Sorry, wish I had more info to provide!
