Out-of-date Snakebids #8

Creating an issue as a reminder, current version of this is using snakebids==0.4.1, while the most release is snakebids==0.6.0. Was bought to attention from the recent dependabot alert related to one of the packages snakebids uses. Once that is updated in snakebids, we should consider updating out snakebids package to the new version.
