Hand tracking doesn't work. #5267

Description:

Hand tracking has stopped working on HoloLens 2. This issue is not limited to the sample I created using v1.4.0 but is also reproducible in the official A-Frame hand tracking example.

I don't have a hololens 2 to test with. Nothing has changed on the A-Frame side. Could be a browser / device bug? Can you reproduce in other device with hand tracking like Meta Quest?

Per some past discussion on the WebXR discord it seems like webxr hand tracking has not been working for the Hololens 2 since Edge 110 was released. No one's been able to get a clear answer from Microsoft on why, the suspicion is not enough internal support anymore to maintain right now.

What's the status of this on the Hololens side? I think there's not much to do on A-Frame side. Should I close or keep open for reference?

It's a Hololens 2 + Edge issue, not an A-Frame issue, it used to work, now it doesnt:

It hasn't been fixed for more than 8 months.
