Location for tapping into CAN harness? #4

Hello, thanks for the reverse engineering work!

Where in the wiring harness should we tap into to access this data? And once you make the connection, is the data immediately available, or does an activation message need to be sent before data flows?

It seems that the OBDII port does not have this data stream, so we figured it should be accessed within the harness.

For 18+ cars Subaru seems to filter can data out of the obd port. You can tap into the can wires behind the mfd or behind the gauge cluster. Find the service manual and take a look at the wiring diagrams. The wires are blue and red. Datas immediately available
