Crash when as soon as i luanch the game #118

I just launched OpenTESArena, but the game just terminate right away when i launch

Hey there. Could you tell me some more details, like your operating system and any messages in the console? I can't pinpoint the problem with what you've told me so far. I'm assuming you're using the 0.6.0 release, so I'd recommend waiting a couple days for the 0.7.0 release, since it will have a lot better exception handling (which I'm assuming is the problem here -- an uncaught exception usually just makes the program terminate immediately).

Some potential sources of the exception might be an incorrect path or missing files, so make sure your ArenaPath in options-default.txt is pointing to your ARENA folder, and make sure you're using the floppy version of the game and not the CD version.

I'm using the floppy version.

Are you on Windows? Are there any error messages? What is your ArenaPath? It needs to point to the ARENA folder, wherever it is that you installed it.

@Aaron-Paul-Hancock-Jr can you try the 0.7.0 release and tell me if it works on your computer?

I think it's safe to assume this was just a configuration error. Seems OK to close to me.

Maybe they figured it out on their own. If not, then I can reopen it.
