run-lmcpgen should be enhanced so that it uses the information in repositories.yaml to find at least the location of LmcpGen - and possibly also OpenAMASE.
The script might also be enhanced to offer finer-grained control over what's built automatically. The -a flag in principal means "all" but almost everything is built all the time already.
