Formating not the same, missing the grouping for the ''+'' or ''-'' to collapse and expand
Adjusted grid properties to allow application of formatType to rollups. Also enabled Subtotal property to create row groupings.
Returning for retest.
Column spacing is different. Also we should not see the gridlines. The variance column V, AD, AH should not be red once i press ''+''
Okay I took another stab at copying the formatting from the prod version. Then I also locked formulas so they don't show up in red font.
grouping seems fine. We shouldnt see the gridlines, the sheet tab color is different, spacing is too wide.
-Copied and pasted the formatting from the prod template into the dev template. This adjusted the column width. -Unselected template property 'Show gridlines'
As for the tab colors, this might just be a feature of the new version of A3. In cascaded models, tabs for rollups and leaves are colored differently. Here's a comparison: Prod (old/original):
Dev (new/migrated):
Is this going to be okay?
Hey Alec, this reports is sometimes consolidated in a group report and the tab colors are there to match the look and feel of the rest of the report. So yes please, i'd like the tab to be the same color as before.
Hi Fred,
This is the result of a new product feature. A3 Cascade now colors tabs based on whether the sheet member has children in the online or not. Previously, all cascaded sheets inherited the tab color of the source sheet. We've forwarded your request to the A3 Product team for consideration. In the mean-time, there are a couple options you can consider. If it's a one-off situation when you prefer to control the tab colors, you could record a macro (and even drop that on your Excel Quick Access toolbar) that you can use to change the sheet colors after a cascade. If the sheet tab colors issue more broadly applies across your user community, you could enable a little post-build VBA to make the change.
In the title section, there's a reference to =@SelectCompany which resolves to #NAME. Company isn't a selectable, as far as I can tell, so I'm not sure what this should be.
