For the 2023 EFH review, the length cut-off between subadult and adult Pacific cod was changed from the beginning of the ascending limb of the 50% maturity curve to length at 50% maturity reported in Stark (2007).
Previously, the ESP condition indicator length cut-offs were based on those used in the 2017 EFH. Cut-offs were 460 mm for the EBS/AI and 420 mm for the GOA. To match what's used in EFH. the subadult length cut-off for the ESP condition indicator should be changed to 503 mm in the GOA and 580 mm in the EBS in 2024.
