This works on Ubuntu LTS. I cannot check on all distributions. However, if you compile manually, following the contents of the scripts and taking the names of the packages, then of course you can compile on Debian based systems. Run scripts 2...5 one by one. For example, 2_build_libs.sh > BUILD.LOG 2>&1 and see the logs. See https://forums.openpli.org/topic/20871-build-script-for-openpli-enigma2-on-ubuntu-104-32-bit.
i'm not that good on reading log files but i'm not that bad also can any one help me readign my log files i made while trying to install it on a debian based distro? it will be so much helpful
i installed openpli-pc through the 0_INSTALL.sh script and after the setup finished i executed the autostart.sh script i get this error
