I got sucked with unexpected issues when it msqld would not start up. I have documented the steps the I did to make it up and running, however after solving it I simply did not have enough time enough time to properly focus on my yum repositories, which is absolutely crucial for this deployment.
I was able to successfully deploy Cloudera manager, however, I might have messed up my repo files on the way and started having conflicts when I was trying to deploy CDH cluster. I believe that may have happened due to the stress of not having enough time due to unexpected issues I was having with mysql database.
