Agama should ask for confirmation when switching Tumbleweed -> Micro. The reason is that cache of repository metadata is lost and it takes time to download it.
Also the dialog should explain that it:
1) will need to download metadata
2) certain configuration (partitioning only?) will be also lost
Hi! Yes, you are right. We discussed this issue and it is in our roadmap. Anyway, about point 1, we are not downloading the metadata again if both use the same repository (like Tumbleweed an MicroOS).
Agama should ask for confirmation when switching Tumbleweed -> Micro. The reason is that cache of repository metadata is lost and it takes time to download it.

This was on the version presented at Devconf 14th June 2024 (https://pretalx.com/devconf-cz-2024/talk/TCUZ8S/).
