Discuss: Deploy with a collector? #1

Should this utility be extended to deploy "out of the box" with an OTEL collector? Ergo it becomes "batteries included" and a user just needs to bring a trace backend system?

Should it be optional? Discuss...

I've decided this is out of scope and largely pointless as most will already have a collector available. Please re-open if you feel differently and wish to argue for this.
