I'm using Forestry, and Sengir his changed most of his block IDs. Forestry converts everything in the world properly and conveniently itself, but leaves 'fake' items in the inventory where an old item such as 1408:4 doesn't exist anymore, but is still in the inventory. It also turns some machines into others, like the apiary into the rainmaker.
Earlier I thought I could just convert inventories and the world separately, however, this doesn't solve the issue for Forestry items inside AE networks, chests, DSUs, etc.
Do you think you can add a modification or something to allow me/others to convert an ID, eg "1406:3 -> 1408:1", but not actually convert the block itself, only containers and inventories?
--no-convert-blocks works quite well, but it stops conversion in AE systems, and possible other storage blocks as well, which doesn't help. However, it does convert iron chests, chests and DSUs as far as I've tested.
