Kitchen Appliances #3

Something the new version of electrical age could use would be Electrical Kitchen Appliances such as Stoves, Electric single burner Cookers, and electric Teapots and Toasters.

They should draw a bit more power than most devices do like in real life (in real life a electric stove is on a 50 amp circuit)

One last thing... Ever heard of "Toaster Trimming" @jrddunbr

Toaster trimming is an action performed many times by Purple Shep first introduced in his YouTube channel trailer that involves using shears on a toaster, which causes the toaster to explode and destroy anything in its blast radius. This joke created by the Purple Shep channel has become a well known meme.

a little Easter egg achievement called toaster trimming should be added to E.A if a toaster is added. the achievement should be triggered when a player right clicks a "powered" toaster with shears and it explodes.

here is a video of the famous toaster trimming thing that purple shep does that has become a meme.

I would advise against putting metal objects in a toaster. But appliances will probably be added, particularly if we have Pam's Harvestcraft integration or anything.

Then i think the toaster trimming minecraft achievement (triggered when rightclicking a toaster with shears) is a pretty good idea as a Easter egg.

Cooking for Blockheads integration would be great~

jrddunbr commented 2 years ago

This might be easy to do with the Cell implementation we have, and can be done in the coming days if we can get a Cooking for Blockheads API stub installed in the mod.

Yeah, this might be pretty easy actually.
