depth check and blending mode at startup w/ colormap enabled #123

starting w/ showColormap enabled but not changing the depth check and blending mode puts you in a situation where if you toggle a particle group the depth check and blending mode will change b.c. the value in the GUI and app do not match the value in the settings (or something like that)
