Excellent idea.

Please look at following parts for simpler design.

Excellent ideas. They still provide the discrete signal access I need, but simplify the assembly immensely. I will consider these for the next revision. Thank you!

For micro controller inexpensive CH582F looks like an option. It has built in USB controller + BLE 5.3.
