Dear @agermanidis,

I am Roberto Minelli and I am part of the Team that organizes TEDxLakeComo.

For the captioning process of TED Talks we have to follow a number of guidelines:

Is there any way to parametrize your tool to satisfy all (or most) of these guidelines?

Thank you very much, Roberto

Hi, Mr Roberto.

Working for the most biased organization (TedTalks) in the planet? Sorry for that.

Answering to your issue, everything above can be done with SubtitleEdit. Also, SubtitleEdit is used for Netflix because it has some fixes that comply with Netflix quality standards.

Oh man, I am so sorry I missed your reply!

I do not work for TED, I volounter for TEDxLakeComo, one of the many independent TED events around the world.

Anyway, @gabriellluz, would you be so kind to help me out? Are you referring to autosub or to SubtitleEdit?
