Tooltips #50

All the actionable (and preferably more) elements should have tool tips that are displayed on mouse over.

Which elements specifically, and what should the tooltips say? Tooltips can get annoying pretty fast because people usually know after the first mouse over what they do – if not obvious from just the general appearance.

I like when I get a keyboard short-cut on mouse-over for buttons and such. I also like an explaining text for buttons that are icons (I have a vivid imagination and sometimes I can think of other meanings than the intended). Sometimes, I like those two in a combination.

I can wait one or two seconds for the tool-tip, so they shouldn't interfere with normal usage.
