Title pretty much sums it up. At least on Windows, after ~15 minutes the entries that hostsupdater makes are commented out, and I have to manually un-comment them.

Is this behavior configurable somewhere? I wasn't able to find any documentation for it.

Answering my own issue: turns out this has nothing to do with hostsupdater. It comes from the security suite I'm using, Bitdefender. See: http://superuser.com/questions/1018133/windows-10-hosts-file-entries-been-commented-out
