Make compatible with xelatex #6

Currently, this requires use of pdftex. Adding support for other engines will allow typesetting for other languages better. (e.g. With the current createspace.sty, Classical Greek fonts end up rendering as images with too low dpi for createspace to accept.)

p.s. I'd be just as happy with a work-around. Not being very familiar with tex, I doubt it's a good idea to just delete from "\RequirePackage{ifpdf}\n\ifcreatespace@nopdf" to the end of the ifblock right before \endinput. :/

I will look into it. Actually I decided for the limitation because of the commands that set colour profile (they work with pdflatex and I'm not sure about alternatives). I plan to refresh this package anyway (somewhere Q1 next year), so I will make sure it works with XeLaTeX and LuaLaTeX then as well.

Awesome, that's great to hear!

Did anything ever happen with this?

aginiewicz commented 2 years ago

Hi there, sorry, but no. This package is outdated and unfortunately unmaintained right now. Nonetheless I'm happy to accept pull request with some changes. I still have updating this package in my backlog, so it's not abandoned, but currently low priority.

I'm still exploring to see what solution might be best for what I'm trying to do (creating a pocket sized book with some specific fonts). If this seems like the best way to get there, I'll try to create a PR.

Thanks for the jumping off point, though.
