Hi,

I've made a few cleanups and fixes for the included software (sw). Don't be confused by the large number of differences, they are mainly coding style cleanups without any functional change. (first patch) Please take a look at the individual commit messages for more details.

Hi, thanks for your contribution. Regarding the formatting, originally we wanted to fix the clang-format system. But we can merge this anyway.
