0. What version of Reaver are you using? (Only defects against the latest
version will be considered.)

Reaver 1.4

1. What operating system are you using (Linux is the only supported OS)?

Backtrack 5R1 default drivers.
Backtrack 5R2 default drivers/latest compat-wireless drivers + Backtrack
patches.
Crunchbang Linux.

2. Is your wireless card in monitor mode (yes/no)?

yes.

3. What is the signal strength of the Access Point you are trying to crack?

-40db

4. What is the manufacturer and model # of the device you are trying to
crack?

D-Link DSL-2780
Hardware Version: A2
Firmware Version: v1.13

5. What is the entire command line string you are supplying to reaver?

reaver -i mon0 -b B8:A3:86:BB:C5:80 -c 1 -vv

6. Please describe what you think the issue is.

The AP is vulnerable as i have successfully cracked the WPS PIN with 2 other
cards, rt2800pci/rt73.
From what i have read some people find Backtrack 5R2 with rt2800usb (Alfa
awus036nh) to work perfectly fine with reaver, while others like myself have no
success, i suppose this is a tricky one.

7. Paste the output from Reaver below.

[+] Switching mon0 to channel 1
[?] Restore previous session for B8:A3:86:BB:C5:80? [n/Y] n

You need --no-associate and to have aireplay-ng --fakeauth running.
You may also need to use --no-nacks.

I have the same problem/error. What command line do I need to use in BackTrack
to successfully crack the AP?

Try to run reaver with -A option and you need to have airplay-ng running too
(-1)

Thanks for the quick response! I'm still a noob at this...what would be the
EXACT command line I would need to input to crack the AP?

Also how would I get airplay-ng running in the background?

Thanks again!
