Process updated coordinates for Nevada GPS using OPUS Projects

Benefit

Over time coordinates drift due to subsidence and plate tectonics and the published coordinates of each station need to be as accurate as possible. This process will help us confirm the GPS stations are still producing correct coordinates.

Acceptance Criteria

• Determine the best surrounding CORS stations to use for processing based on review of their stability and reliability from NGS reports.
• Process all TURN GPS coordinates using OPUS Projects and 20 of the best surrounding CORS stations.
• Run a network adjustment to reduce any outlying errors and put the coordinates into NAD82 (2011).
• Publish a Network adjustment report that will be used for the site logs website.

All of the items listed under Acceptance Criteria were completed for the Nevada GPS network including the creation of a Network Adjustment Report with NAD83 (2011) coordinates which where used for the new Nevada GPS server solution.
