Background:
In FY24 Q2 and Q3, UGRC sought updates to the Utah Electrical Service and Utah Natural Gas Service Areas Approx boundaries while coordinating with the Division of Public Utilities to build a new DPU app. We contacted many electric service providers from UMPA, Rocky Mtn. Power, and other Co-ops. The UAMPS service areas were not assessed for updates or changes because we were not provided contact information for them until after the app rebuild was complete. We now have the opportunity to start connecting with the UAMPS members to review their boundaries, and provide updates if needed and desired.

Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS) is a full-service interlocal agency, that provides comprehensive wholesale electric energy services, on a non-profit basis, to community-owned power systems throughout the Intermountain West. The UAMPS membership represents 50 members from Utah, Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming.
