PLSS Backlog of Section Corner Data - Iron County

Benefit

There is a backlog of section corner monument records and locational data that has not been incorporated into the PLSS layer and into the PLSS Web App. Many counties that have contributed delivered data to UGRC are wanting to see their data added to these data sets.

Acceptance Criteria

• [x] Onboard Denise into the process
• [x] Revisit the data review process initially done by Rick and pick up where he left off.
• [ ] Add the latest MRRC deliverable into these data sets.
• [ ] Develop a plan and process to streamline this process for the future.
• [ ] Get the data into the AGOL feature layer

We met with Kendal and representatives from other counties during a panel discussion for UGIC this month. We discussed creating a subcommittee with BLM, SITLA, UGRC, and interested counties to work towards creating an updated version of the PLSS parcel fabric, as well as a work flow that works for all parties involved in order to keep fabric up-date-date going forward.

Kendal said he would provide us with data from Iron County for updating the parcel fabric. I plan to follow up with him as we have not yet received his data.
