The Monument Replacement and Restoration Committee (MRRC) was established in the 2015 Utah Legislative General Session in Senate Bill 264 which establishes and amends provisions relating to PLSS survey monuments, provides funding, clarifies reporting requirements and creates a process for the protection of survey monuments.
Since that time many of the deliverable requirements have improved from 2016 until now and many of the contract deliverables which include section corner tie sheets and coordinate spreadsheets need to be brought up to standard before the data can be included in the PLSS web app and background data.
