Unified State Future Infrastructure Projects/Planning Coordination

Benefit

Working with Laura Hansen and Evan Curtis at GOPB on a map similar to Wasatch Choice 2050 or UDOT's unified plan:

• Layers:
  • Future Transportation Projects/needs
  • Energy Transmission Corridors
  • Water Projects
  • UIPA
  • New state parks
  • any future physical infrastructure project
• Displayed in an app (ExB if at all possible) that a legislator could pull up in a meeting and say "We've got x dollars, where should we spend it?"
• Current focus on state agencies, but future dream is to pull in regional and local plans (wasatch choice 2050, etc)

Acceptance Criteria

For this quarter:

• [ ] Proof of concept ExB app
• [ ] gather as many datasets as we can

Notes

Goal is to have the final product by Aug of 2025, so we've got time to build a proof of concept and iterate through, hopefully build momentum amongst agencies by showing what we've got.

Risks

• Getting data from agencies
• ExB not providing all the functionality we want
