@mheagin is there a problem if ent_rate
is 0 in all the records i looked at?
Morning All I ask Terri the same question. The tax rate does not get set until July 1 for the year 2021. For Greg's question, yes. The tax boundaries are for 2021 and used for the 2022 year. The 2022 date is in flux and changing all the time, similar to the muni annexation areas.
The stewardship spreadsheet is missing the open data url in the endpoint column and the website has not been updated with the new year and open data links.
thanks, mike, for the explanation. the 2021 date in the title is a little confusing but i get what you're saying. as long as we explain that (what you said) on the datapage and/or in the metadata that should help folks work out those details.
Thanks Steve I will be working on that today. Greg I will make sure that is stated in the data-page/Metadata
@nathankota Do I need to update locate to point to this new data?
@stdavis > Do I need to update locate to point to this new data?
From the 2020 Tax Entity data I can't tell what locate might be using. I don't see tax entities as a map layer, and it doesn't seem to include any of the data in the summary report. I do see Tax Increment Areas, which seem to be different. Or maybe they're a subset of the Tax Entities? Let me know what I'm missing.
The Tax Increment Areas layer on the map and in the summary report is the tax entity data joined with some static county contacts.
Thank you for the reminder. Yes, this should be updated in Locate.
