What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC Desire Stock Froyo 2.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Bon je ne sais pas si il faut mieux écrire en anglais ou en Français :)
Is this possible to alter le volume of the ring so that even if it is in
silence mode the phone rings as loud as possible?

thx

On a Motorola Milestone, the ringtone volume is WAY TOO LOUD! It really hurts,
mainly because it's a phone designed to be used on a dock as a music station.
We should be able to choose the ringtone volume in the ringtone choice menu, as
in Settings > Sound.

FYI, right now, TalkMyPhone uses the volume of the alarm. If you change it, it
will ring less loud.

Right now I don't want bug reports about alarm volume changed after having used
TalkMyPhone, so I do not try to change it. However, When I'll have fixed
connectivity problems and crashes (which are way more important for me), I'll
do something about that.

How about being able to override the volume when issuing the ring command. For
example:

ring (rings at current alarm setting)

ring 50 (rings at 50% of max volume)

ring max (rings at the max volume)

This way it can be controlled remotely and will be less confusing in the long
run.
