If i run TMP at work, it works fine. if i then log off gtalk on my work
computer, go home, and log into gtalk on my home computer, sending commands to
my gtalk contact does nothing. i have to turn TMP off and then on again for it
to work at home. Is it possible for it to work seamlessly without having to
restart the client?

Phone details: HTC desire rooted running sense android 2.2 (leedroid 2.1a ROM)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log onto gtalk on computer 1
2. Start TMP on mobile. gtalk on computer 1 receives battery info and welcome
message
3. log off gtalk on computer 1
4. log into gtalk on computer 2
5. send ? to your contact on gtalk on computer 2, no response until you stop
and start TMP

What version of TalkMyPhone are you using?
2.05 beta

Are you using TalkMyPhone from the same account than the one you notify?

This is due to the way jabber is designed. For the same reason, if you log in
to gtalk from a regular jabber client and have a conversation in gtalk, your
messages won't be recorded by the web based gtalk. Use a second account for
your phone if you want to avoid this bug.
