jPaginate minimize and nav_items not working #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set items to 2
2. set minimize to true
3. nav_items to 4

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have about 15 <li> and I only want to show 2 at a time but only giving 4 
nav_items. It completly igonres the fact that I'm asking to show only 4 items 
and it jumps all around

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 0.3 with jquery 1.7.1

I have the same problem. I tried to hack into the plugin, but I must be missing 
something.
