Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get a SMS message from a contact that is linked to a Facebook account.
2. There name has multiple words separated by a white space.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. For it to read only their first-name.

What version of the product are you using?
1. Latest
2. EVO 4G on Android 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.
1. The latest version fixed white space detection for normal Google contacts,
but doesn't seem to work for linked contacts.

Hello,

I suggest you to wait for the update that I'm working on. I hope to release it
within the next weeks. If you want to test it, follow me on Twitter
(@tomtasche).

Thanks

Thanks, it no longer seems to force close. I will test and let you know how it
goes. I also noticed that the menu option for external tweak is set as a main
menu option just FYI.

Whitespace detection seems to work fine on the linked accounts now. I have
noticed that it is not using nicknames and always using the linked account name
now.

Possible... I don't fully understand how Android works on that. ;)
I'll try to improve that in the future.

Thanks for testing!
